Personal Support, Life Coaching, Spiritual Accompaniment and Family Mentoring

My name is Lynne Tarrab-Snooks. I live near Kingsbridge in South Devon and offer 1:1 sessions, small group (process work), family mentoring and training, ONLINE.

I have worked with people from all walks of life in a wide range of circumstances, from the joys of a new birth all the way through to being given a life-threatening diagnosis and to dying.

All gender, sexual and relationship diverse identities are welcome.

I work with individuals, couples and family groups. I offer Family Mentoring - see Current Courses and Projects.

I also offer 1:1 sessions and small group process work for spiritual development - see Retreat work for the Ineffable Stream.

People don’t actually need support for their own personal growth but they might enjoy and benefit from it. The most important thing I’ve learned about us humans is that we love - and need- to feel accompanied. We want someone to listen to us, someone who will let us be exactly as we are, some-one who is interested and caring. It helps if that person understands that life can sometimes be really hard and sometimes it can be really glorious.

Being ‘accompanied’ in this way can make even the most challenging of life’s circumstances at least, manageable and at best, surprisingly rich.

Every life - straight, queer, lesbian, bi-sexual, gay, cisgender, transgender, asexual, intersex and questioning - has the potential for joy no matter what challenges present themselves.

  • An online Mentoring Group for people who live with and/or work with children and/or adolescents.

If you aren't familiar with Personal Growth Services there are some FAQs on this page to help give you a better understanding. Please click on the headings to find out more:

• Who do I work with?

Anyone who wants to engage in their life more deeply and productively.   These one to one sessions create an opportunity for you to focus on where you are right now, where you want to be and what resources you need to be more fully where you are.

Arising out of my many years of consultancy in education and in mental health, I also offer a mentoring group specifically for parents or professionals who work with children and adolescents.

• When might you need personal growth support?

For many years I worked as a psychotherapist. I’ve counselled people facing hardship, relationship breakdown, illness, loss or other major transitions in their lives. There are many times in our lives when we might benefit from having someone interested, caring and non-judgmental to listen to us and to help us to see the wood from the trees.

A Rabbit Noticed My Condition
"I was sad one day and went for a walk; I sat in a field.
A rabbit noticed my condition and came near.
It often does not take more than that to help at times, to just be close to creatures who are so full of knowing,  so full of love that they don't chat, they just gaze with their marvellous understanding."

St John of the Cross,

These focused sessions can help to realign you with what is truly important in your life. They can help you to access a deeper ground, with a more resourced sense of yourself and your capacities. I no longer offer long-term psychotherapy. If longer-term counselling or psychotherapeutic support is required, I will help you to find a suitably qualified practitioner.

• How do I work?

I believe there is real value to be had in meeting someone deeply in a one-off session or over three to six, 60 to 90 minute, sessions to focus on a specific issue or circumstance.

Some of my weekend workshops offer more detailed ways of getting in touch with our less-obvious capacities and essential qualities. These are informed by the spiritual development work I have been engaged in for most of my adult life- so quite a long time!

See Current Courses and Projects on this website.

• Where do I work?

I work online on Zoom or Skype.

• Why do I offer personal growth support?

The thing I find most rewarding about working in this way is witnessing people’s renewed ability to be in the truth of themselves and their life circumstances. It is a beautiful process. And I love life and the way it manifests in so many ways, each of them precious and unique. 'Like a snowflake, each of us is different because of our individual formation histories: an infinity of forms.'

• Typically what do my services cost?

  • A 60 minute session: £90
  • A 90 minute session: £120
  • I offer a sliding scale and some discounted places.

I am not currently offering in-person workshops or courses due to the Covid -19 pandemic.

I always have some places available at concessionary rates.

All sessions and retreat places are bookable in advance.
